I was reading the Diary and she has had her bad times in the secret annexe. She felt very sorry for her Mother when she yelled at her because she wanted her father to say prayers and say goodnight because her father does not her mother! I wouldn't blame her for her actions but the reason why she was feeling sorry for her was because she was very upset.
Anne finally realised that she's very lucky to be in the secret annexe while other jews are working for germans in concertation camps.
Anne even witnessed an air battle between the Germens and the british and she also wrote a poem for her Fathers birthday.
